So, the angiogram went well, they were able to see that I had a 90% blockage in my LAD artery. This prompted them to immediately take me in for angioplasty and they did that and put a stent in and now I feel much better. They are quick to tell you that this is not a cure and you need to change your lifestyle, diet etc. Yes, easier said than done but I'm trying. I'm also the old grandma that has a suitcase full of pills now...boo.
Able to go back to the gym, just started a week ago. After the first session with about 90 lunges, I was hardly able to walk for the next 2 days! Back at it now though and really trying to do the cardio 3x a week.
Jesse got a new (used) (very used) truck today! He got a 97 Dodge Dakota that my boss was selling. It has over 200,000 km on it. In celebration of him being on the road with his own vehicle, Mother Nature has decided to send snow. He is going to Edmonton today to start work as well so it should be a good test for him. I just pray he passes the test. Now I will be super nervous all winter. Good thing one of the things I'm supposed to do is reduce the stress in my life. Jesse went back to working at Jesco, selling knives, and Mr Stickies (yes we have some fun with that one) and after 2 weeks back, they have offered him the manager position in Edmonton. He hasn't decided if he is going to take it yet.
I'm on a 4 day weekend and started with having Shane, Chris and Kim and Ashtyn over for dinner last night as Shane was travelling back to work in northern BC. Of course, Kim brought Bruce, her cute little puppy. Of course, he peed 3 times in my house and pooed once in the house, although he also managed to go outside as well, once. He is really going to be a handful as he loves to chew, bite and insist on being picked up and held. He has doubled in size since she got him 2 weeks ago, so I suspect he will have to get over the wanting to be picked up really soon!
